Diana Shaw is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Professional (LIMHP). She is a graduate of Hendrix College in Conway, AR where she received a B.A. in Psychology; and of Murray State University in Murray, KY, where she received an Ed. S. in Community Counseling. Diana has extensive experience with young children and is a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Additionally, she is experienced working with older children, teens, and adults.

Diana’s clinical practice focuses on, but not limited to, attachment issues, ADHD, anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, trauma, and life changes. She is trained in Circle of Security-Parenting and has additional training in early childhood mental health, trauma, and behavior interventions. Diana works 3 evenings per week with availability typically ranging from 4pm-8pm. 

Fun Fact: Diana has a therapy dog, Winnie the Pooch, who comes to work with her 1-2 days per week. Winnie and Diana have been credentialed as a Certified Therapy Dog Team with the Alliance for Therapy Dogs. Due to numerous factors, not all of Diana’s clients are eligible to work with Winnie. The process for being selected as a potential candidate for sessions with Winnie is discussed at intake. Winnie is a hypoallergenic dog breed, but some individuals with allergies to dogs may need to choose another therapist as Diana cannot guarantee that dander is not present within her therapy office.
