After growing up in a military family, Victor settled in Nebraska and attended the Universities of Nebraska Omaha and Lincoln. He trained first as a Child Life Specialist and then as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Victor is a Clinical Fellow in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and a member of the Nebraska Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (NAMFT). He is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Nebraska with over 26 years of experience working in private practice, both rural and urban mental health agencies, in-patient mental health hospitals, school-based mental health services (K-12), and as a co-presenter of Love and Logic Parenting classes. His therapeutic clientele has included children, adolescents, families, and couples that have experienced a wide variety of mental and behavioral health concerns. Some of which include parenting challenges, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, grief and loss, and relationship struggles.

Victor uses a variety of therapeutic approaches that include, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (that can be as brief or as long as needed), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, and Love and Logic Parenting.
