David J. Clark, LPC, LMHP

David has worked in the mental health field for over 30 years. He finished a masters degree in counseling at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1978. He has an extensive background in the areas of addictions, domestic violence, and sex offender treatment. He has worked in several therapeutic settings before his current association with Family Enrichment, joining the practice 12 years ago. David's current caseload covers — but is not limited to — issues of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adolescent development issues, PTSD, and other life challenges and traumas. He works with families, couples, and individuals in the age range of 13 and up. David also has significant teaching experience at the graduate level, having served in an adjunct faculty position for 10+ years. He has a professional relationship with The Stephen Center Hero Program, where he teaches classes in Critical Thinking and Relapse Prevention. His treatment philosophy is based on the belief that people want to be happy and healthy and when afforded effective guidance, are able to expand their personal choices to achieve their goals.
